Eric Britten is the Managing Director of EP Civil & Earthmoving Pty Ltd and has been involved in the Civil Construction Industry for almost 42 years.
He has had experience in supervising projects at Roxby Downs for the Olympic Dam Alliance. He also managed Maunsell Australia’s Port Lincoln Branch office, which serviced Eyre Peninsula community for 3 years.
Prior to that he had almost twenty five years experience in Municipal Engineering, supervision & management including Roads, STEDS, Airports, Land-division, Reserves, Sport Facilities and coastal structures, with City of Port Lincoln, St Peters, Kangaroo Island and Lower Eyre Peninsula Councils.
Steve Konitzka has a long history of service to the construction industry in both the public and private sector in South Australia. Specialising in major road design and construction with Transport SA for twenty five years and later eight years as General Manager of a local construction firm and another eight years as General Manager/Director of his own construction company.
He has project managed numerous sub division and road widening / construction projects throughout South Australia and is an accredited road safety auditor. He has a reputation for quality work ensuring client satisfaction and forged strong relationships with local government, corporate bodies, consulting engineers and land developers.
With over 40 years experience, Jeff leads our pipelaying, sewer & stormwater projects. His experience from working with SA Water & other Civil Construction companies marks him a valuable asset to our team.
With over 19 years experience in Civil Construction & an excellent operator himself, Beau has taken on the role as Supervisor using his skills & knowledge to lead our house & building pad works whilst leading our younger operators in the field.
In 2020 EP Civil employed Warren as a full time Supervisor utilising his strong leadership skills to oversee our Road Construction works. With over 15 years experience in Civil Construction, Warren has proven himself to be an excellent plant operator himself. His extensive experience operating Graders in the mining industry has introduced EP Civil to new & advanced Grader GPS Technology, expanding our teams’ skills & business capability/ on-site efficiency to client satisfaction.
Office Manager/ QA-PA Officer
Charmaine started with EP Civil in 2011 as a fresh young face in our Reception area, in that time completing her Certificate III in Office Administration & Certificate IV in Accounting to further her knowledge. She has progressed over the years through various roles to currently over-see all the Administrative functions in the office including Office Management, Human Resources & Accounting. Charmaine assists in the development & implementation of company policies & procedures; manages & oversees the administration of HR policies, programs & practices within the company; maintains payroll, accounts payable, receivables & monthly billing & directly handles financial reporting. Charmaine is also responsible for the Supervision of all Administrative Staff & with her time & experience in the Civil Industry, makes her a reliable & valuable asset to the team.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION – TRAINEE
Mariah joined our EP Civil Team at the beginning of 2021 as our vibrant & approachable Receptionist, overseeing all the Administrative Duties in the office. She is currently completing her Certificate III in Business Administration and is thoroughly enjoying her study so far whilst enthusiastically learning on the job.
You will find she always has a smile on her face, & with a can-do attitude is willing to learn new skills which she has applied aptly within her new office environment. Over time EP Civil will see Mariah as a loyal & dependable asset in the office.
As the most experienced and sound plant operators in our team, Gary Fowler, Daryl Schlink & Steven Appleton are our team leaders and the backbone of our work. With over 60 years experience between the three of them we have excellent leaders in the field.
